Summarizing the Asia and the Pacific results of the 2021 International Comparison Program, this report estimates purchasing power parities (PPPs) and PPP-based measures of total and per capita real gross domestic product (GDP) for 21 economies. It also provides revised results for the 2017 ICP cycle. The PPPs enable comparison in real terms across economies by removing price level differences among them. The results provide policy makers and other users with useful information on price levels and PPP-based GDP expenditure values for comparative analysis and policy applications. The ICP is a global statistical initiative carried out under the auspices of the United Nations Statistical Commission.
