Megan, Stephanie, Bethany, and Angela have a strange uncle who is a puppet maker, who lives inside a tree at the edge of town. Not in a tree house, but in the tree. It is all carved out to make a nice house. One day a white bearded man comes to stay with Uncle Eaon. He is fat and grumpy, yet he looks a lot like Santa Claus. His name is Claus Linden, or so he says, As Christmas draws nearer, the two are seen in Uncle Eaon's wood shop, but when they try to look in they pull the curtains, and when they knock on the door they are shooed away, Then overnight reindeer show up on Uncle Eaon's lawn. Soon the mystery is too much, and the girl's fathers go to investigate, and they too disappear into the shop, They don't know it, but this is going to be the most magical Christmas of all for the girls.
