About the Author Born and raised in the Bronx Vince married his teenage sweetheart Alice Windus. Married for 49 years they raised a typical American family, one boy, one girl, two dogs, one cat, three goats and two ponies. While attending grammar school in the Bronx during the 1950’s he was engaged in a over one hundred street-fights and touts winning a mere twenty. Never discouraged by his performance, he believed that losing a fight was always better than backing down and losing your integrity and respect. Ironically, later in life Vince spent four decades as a Martial Art Master providing his students with the kind of knowledge you cannot learn in college. After a successful battle against prostate cancer Vince decided to return to his passion for story telling in the form of writing.
