Stumpy, the little goat, arrived here with a crippled left leg and was unable to go up and down his stairs. in a twist of fate, he somehow discovered that maneuvering the stairs BACKWARDS enabled him to handle the stairs. In this photo, he's getting ready to go down the stairs BACKWARDS!
Cowboy, the pony. His previous owners were charged with neglect, and he was taken away from them.
After years of little or no food with them - and no regular care, he was put on a high protein diet with vitamins. Also, he had his teeth 'floated', and hooves trimmed. His energy increased and he is now a happy, healthy pony.
