Follow the path of a Bluenoser born in the early 60’s. This true story follows the compass for 27 years as a Game Warden in Nova Scotia, Canada. I was transferred from all over the province and many memories were built at each location. Some of the occurrences needed to be written into the trusty notebook that all wardens carry daily. Oftentimes, woodsman confronted in the field would all say the same thing: “I always wanted to do what you do for a living, but life took a different path”. I have decided to share some of these experiences and adventures as it was a enjoyable and interesting journey. My hope is that at the old hunting or fishing camp, there will be a chuckle or two from reading this book. The job a times was scary, and other times hilarious. When being asked what my favourite part of being a warden is, I can’t answer with just one activity. The ever-changing seasons, unpredictable wildlife behaviour, and fantastic, dedicated coworkers are definitely up there.
