Adela: The Marriage Proposal
Adventure Summary
When the adventurers discover a silver ring engraved with the name Adela, they are drawn into a desperate plea from a noblewoman whose kingdom teeters on the edge of ruin. Adela, heir to a peaceful and prosperous realm, faces a forced marriage to the son of King Hannon—a tyrant steeped in dark magic. His threat: accept the union or suffer a curse that will blight her lands and enslave her people.
Summoned through a mystical portal, the party must journey across two kingdoms—one radiant with harmony, the other rotting under corruption—to find and destroy Hannon's blackened peridot stone before the curse is unleashed. Their path winds through guarded borders, starving villages, and a castle steeped in debauchery and deceit.
Inside the hidden chamber of Belial, the heroes confront dark priests, the king, and his son in a climactic battle to shatter the cursed gem and restore balance. Success earns them Adela's eternal gratitude, royal honors, and a magical ring that binds their fates to her kingdom forever.
Adventure Type: Side Quest or Standalone
Recommended Levels: 5–7
Themes: Heroic rescue, moral contrast, artifact destruction, political intrigue
Setting: Dual kingdoms—Adela's realm of light and Hannon's domain of decay
