-I was praying for a sermon and Luke 4:18, 21 came into my spirit. After receiving Luke 4:18, 21, I went on my way, not understanding the fullness of the message. Several years later, I was a content born again Christian. I went outside of the Church one day, placed my feet on the Earth in Nature, and heard: they are killing us. -Who is this "us"? The African people. Who are the "they" you speak of? The Christians. How then are they killing us- African people? They are severing us from our culture, our traditions, our spirituality, and thereby, our African identity body, mind, and spirit. They are an intermediary set to alter our identity by westernizing us. And through this, they are contaminating our spirituality. It was then that African Liberation and Spirituality were born in me. -A change of your name, clothes, language, cultural customs, values, and your spiritual knowledge systems, will kill. Answer to it and embrace it and your true identity vanishes. You then become a tree without leaves or roots. -African Liberation and Spirituality is not a suggestion; it is a necessity for African people!
