We saw it coming, tensions mounted between countries as resources dwindled, but no one wanted to believe it would happen. World War Three was short, but not sweet. The major countries and most of the minor ones were devastated, billions died and societies collapsed. An especailly harsh winter followed the war, killing many of the initial survivors. Now gangs fight over the scraps that remain. If you aren't part of a gang you have to smart and paranoid in order to survive. Vincent is both of those things, he's a scavenger who combs the area looking for things of value to use or trade. Bullets, food and women are at the top of the list. It's a lonely life, but a safe one, at least until Vincent has a run in with some of the most dangerous people around and rescues a girl who begs him to take her in as his willing slave. That's when his simple life becomes more and more complicated as he tries to survive after the apocalypse.
