After the tragic loss of his beloved wife, Sue, the mother of his three children, Jim is left grief-stricken. Linda, a woman born into poverty in a small town in southern Italy, has immigrated to America as a teenage bride. After conquering many obstacles and living the American Dream she too suffers the untimely death of her husband. Never having met and living within two, very diverse cultures in different cities a chance encounter occurs. With this bitter connection, Jim and Linda become friends and build a beautiful new life together. There is a spirit of overwhelming gratitude as Jim reflects on his life's experiences.
