All Shades of Blue is my first book. I have always imagined writing a book of poetry, but I didn't know it could ever happen in this lifetime. I have my doubts and fears. I hope this book will find a place in someone's heart as it did mine. We all have our shades of blue. Each emotion we possess is a part of us. It does not need validation from anyone. If you are hurting, cry. If you are feeling happy, laugh and smile. If you are mourning, grieve. If you are falling in love, be in love. Let your emotions run wild. If you feel like giving up, be a fighter. Battle your demons and emerge a warrior. I know it won't be easy. I am still in the middle of it. One day at a time. Take a deep breath and stay alive.
