Marsha Barber’s first poetry book What is the Sound of Someone Unravelling was longlisted for the national ReLit award. She has won several first-place awards from The Ontario Poetry Society and been shortlisted for the international Bridport Prize. Her other awards include the Chester Macnaghten Prize and the Peterson Prize. She has been published in such periodicals as The Antigonish Review , The New Quarterly , The Walrus and The Prairie Journal . Marsha is on faculty at Ryerson University’s School of Journalism in Toronto.
