February is Black History Month in Canada, and this project is my way of honouring the people who have shaped me. While the focus is on Black Canadians, I've also included influential voices from around the world. The format is simple: short shout outs in English, with French and Spanish versions to follow. Each short biography is a moment of acknowledgment, a way to celebrate their contributions and say: your work mattered to me.
