Their reason for climbing back into the saddle seemed innocent enough. A new preacher was headed for Sundown Creek, but to reach the town, they had to cross some of the most inhospitable, outlaw-infested country around. So the Harpers Ferry Bible College paid Shane and Jonah to make sure its emissary arrived safely.
But all was not as it seemed.
To start with, the preacher wasn’t exactly what they’d been expecting. And when, after numerous adventures, they finally reached their destination, they found that Sundown Creek hell with the hide off—a hell-town in which religion had no place … and neither did the preacher dispensing it!
