This 100% chardonnay was one of the stand outs at the 2023 edition of I4C in Niagara, tasted during a panel discussion on blanc de blancs sparklers. It has a lovely soft and complex nose of apple, brioche, lemon and spice. It was aged five years on its lees. It is very elegant, lithe and still fruit driven with great, almost steely acidity. But it is not too austere, in fact it is very complete with a hint of residual sugar. Excellent to outstanding length. Delicious. Tasted July 2023. Score - 93.
