Buffalo Bill and the Beast of Bodmin The year is 1904, and the world-famous "Buffalo Bill" is touring his Wild West show around England. June finds him in the Wild West Country of England. The bleak and lonely Bodmin Moor has recently been witness to horrific slayings and the murderer has just evaded his imminent execution with an audacious escape from Bodmin Gaol, and is now at liberty. A Murderous Madman at large on the Moor, now that is never a good thing… Inspector John Broom of the Cornish Police joins forces with Tommy Agar-Robartes from Lanhydrock House, along with his Head Gamekeeper, a gruff Yorkshireman, to hunt down and recapture the unhinged fugitive, Pasco Wenn. They are joined in the task by William "Buffalo Bill" Cody and Chief Felix Flying Hawk of the Lakota tribe, along with a Scotsman, a Cowboy, and a dog called Pepper. Pasco Wenn is trying to elude his hunters. Will he manage to do so before escaping by ship to America, or will he be apprehended and brought to justice by the pursuing search party? Who is the shadowy Baron Samedi? What happens in Cardinham Woods and at Dozmary Pool? What do a roguish horse trader, the Duke of Cornwall's Light Infantry and Fred Abberline, the Ripper Hunter, have to do with the story? More importantly, who or what is the real Beast of Bodmin? All will be revealed in, "Buffalo Bill and the Beast of Bodmin."
