Burrowing Owl Estate Winery in Oliver, established in 1993 by the Wyse family, has grown to become one of the Okanagan’s most well known estate wineries. The Burrowing Owl Estate Winery Cookbook is a collection of nearly 50 delicious, easy-to-make recipes showcasing varietals and the award-winning wines produced here. Three course dinner menus are inspired by the Wyse family’s travels and favourite dishes, including the offerings at the the Sonora Room (their on-site restaurant), and showcase the incredible local produce of the Okanagan region. The recipes and menus were developed, tested and paired by award-winning cookbook author and wine connoisseur Jennifer Schell Lirag, author of the book as a whole.
