The Merlin family have pulled out the stops at Laroze in recent years, and it really shows in this 2015. This really does showcase the Cabernet, and you could almost be fooled into thinking this is from the Médoc if it wasn't for the soft creaminess of the tannins that comes in behind the grilled almond oak aromas, and liquorice and dark chocolate flavours. It's elegant and restrained, but it means business. Drinking window: 2023-2038.
