Sweet, dense and extremely deep, with great energy in the mouth. This has explosive flavors of red fruits, spices, iron and earth. Finishes with terrific verve and palatestaining length. A great bottle of Pommard that should gain in complexity for the next 10 to 15 years. Montille originally planned to bottle this in February but eventually waited until June. Score - 94+.
