Dr Frank's Grüner is produced with grapes grown on the southeast shores of Seneca Lake in the region known as the Banana Belt for the ripeness of the fruit it delivers. The wine shows typical Grüner aromas of ripe apricot with accents of white pepper and flowers. Although it is completely dry, there is still good density here, but it is more Federspiel than Smaragd in character and still pleasantly persistent on the palate. Drinking window: 2020-2025.
