Hey Car Driver! What Are You Like? How often are drivers shouting and screaming at each other when one driver has upset another. But what is that driver really like? And what kind of driver are you ? Author Andy Large (son of SAS legend and author Don 'Lofty' Large) gets behind the wheel and into the minds of UK drivers to uncover the different types of personalities and their behaviours before an 'event' even occurs on the road. Using caustic wit and his own considerable driving experience, the author explores entertaining true-life driver stories and incidents, interspersed with some historical nuggets and some driving mistakes of his own: "I've had Road Rage and suffered at the hands of Road Rage. It's not big and it's not clever." "My father taught me to do more than just see things," explains Large. "He said to observe and take in what happened, figure out why it happened, and when it happens again... is there a common thread that starts to show itself? If there is, you start to be aware that something might happen before it actually does." " The more you look, the more you see, the more you observe, the safer you'll be ." Highly engaging and humorous, Large also hopes that the book will help drivers and other road users address their own bad habits and make the roads safer for all. "It's not about driving good, it's about not driving bad." Driver - Are you in this book? Passenger - read this and know your driver. Learner - Don't drive like some of these eejits. Pedestrian - Wake up and get it sorted. Be warned. Know what to look for and be aware of other drivers' potential for causing havoc.
An alternative look at driving with some entertaining and slightly scary stories.
Get off the road you bums.
