Designed to resemble a perfume bottle, the wine is made from an unnamed collection of chosen sites across California. Justin Vineyards' Je Ne Sais Quoi pours an iridescent medium peach colour that gives the impression of a sunset in the bottle. Fully grenache, this notably intentioned rosé exhibits impressive depth and length. Immediately inviting with a fleshy, lightly viscous texture and a dry palate. A delicately savoury expression of grenache without emphatic red-fruited sweetness but rather a wildflower, dried thyme and marbled cherry marking the palate. With plenty of gastronomic food pairing potential, this rosé can be drunk now or held for another 2-3 years. Tasted April 2024. Score - 92.
