Pithy lemon, orange rind, peach flesh, gooseberry, floral and some mineral touches - oyster, sea spray and salty aspects too. Round and filling, this has an excellent texture and weight in the mouth - almost honeyed in texture but then with a lean and sharp core which is more citrus and soft tropical elements - passionfruit with firm, grippy salty sides. There's lots going on here. Mouthwatering, vibrant with tension and energy. What it lacks in richness it makes up in flavour complexity. Just lovely. Well expressed with great bitter touches. Already good to drink but should grow a little over ageing then be very enjoyable. Really very good. Whites harvested in good conditions with excellent yields. Ageing 40% new oak. 3.28pH. Drinking window: 2025-2034. (Georgina Hindle,decanter.com) Pithy lemon, orange rind, peach flesh, gooseberry, floral and some mineral touches - oyster, sea spray and salty aspects too.
