The young and tender red 2019 Les Crestes is an approachable blend of 80% Garnacha and 10% each Cariñena and Syrah. It has ripe black fruit and licorice aromas and is Mediterranean, warm and comforting. It fermented with neutral yeasts in stainless steel and matured in second use French oak barrels for eight months. But the oaking is very light, and the wood feels very integrated, coming through as quite fruit-driven. Drink date: 2021-2025.
