Everyone has a wish. Desiree’s just got real. For years hippie-genie Desiree has been living in a sort of limbo, granting wishes for others while never receiving her own. Now ready to walk away from the magical realm, regardless of the consequences, Desiree learns she’s finally going to get what she asked for so long ago, a second chance at life. She has two choices: her future or her past. She can give up her magical powers and move forward to college and the normal, independent life she’s dreamt of for so long. Or, she can go back to 1969 to when her best friend, brother, and parents are still alive and prevent the tragedies that happened there the first time. Just as Desiree decides which path she wants to follow, she’s reminded that nothing ever goes smoothly with granted wishes.
