Chastity and her friends had a good thing going. They had their own world safe and secure from the intrigues of their home planet, all the while they continued to interfere with the world order of Earth. They had the knowledge of the Ancients as well as help from the Immortals to assist them in their plans. Through their abilities to travel the Pathways of Light, Chastity and her merry band of promiscuous friends were able to rescue refugees from dozens of worlds trapped when their planets did the unthinkable and followed their own arrogance into the downward spiral of self-destruction. But there are limitations to the Cassandran abilities outside of the realms of light, and when the ancient scourge of the galaxy, the ‘Zacanthians’ becomes known to them they have to seek out new friends who have the ability to traverse the stars outside of their happy dimension of light. Finding allies in a galaxy of a hundred billion stars is not the easiest thing to do. And learning even more about their own heritage was not something they expected to face.
