The village-level parcel of Nuits has produced a lush, sybaritic wine with blackberry fruit aromas and abundant floral notes. The grapes come from the cooler north side of the village from a 0.40 domaine-owned site planted in the limestone scree from the Combe de la Serrée. There is less reduction and more purity of fruit, which Liger-Belair attributes to an elevage on the lees of the malolactic conversion. This wine should show well young but also have enough substance to age. Drinking window: 2027-2045.
