Liger-Belair bought a little more than a hectare of vines in Arcenant in 2004, at 450m on south-facing slopes in white marls. The grapes are destemmed and gently fermented with little extraction before ageing in 30% new casks. Lush fruit character, darker than his other cuvées from the Hautes Côtes, a rich density and firm tannins that bode well for future ageing. Drinking window: 2022-2037. Score - 92.
