To understand the structure of this book, it is necessary to know that a first version of Three Years on the Orange Island was published in 2021. This first edition had a chronological structure set by year: Year 1, Year 2, and Year 3. For this second version of the book, the previous division by year was removed but the order of all previous fragments (they’re not really poems and the word ‘text’ grants an undesired vagueness) remains the same. However the reader should note that all fragments from Three Years on the Orange Island can be found on the left side, the even pages; whereas the fragments from Twice Over can be found on the right side, the odd pages. Thus, Twice Over is a re-written, re-experienced, re-lived version of Three Years on the Orange Island, therefore necessitating a side-by-side reading.
