A story of a boy born on a small hilltop village in Malta - who at seven years of age following his mother's death -- left his home and country and, along with his father and younger brother, traveled to England. Both boys spent the following six years living in a Boy's Home run by the Catholic Church. At the age of thirteen the family emigrated to Canada to begin life anew.
