Legally speaking, all corporations that offer employees a 401(k), profit sharing or pension plan must also provide them with what is called a Summary Plan Description. Few read it or understand it because it is uninteresting, dry, and usually difficult to comprehend. What my memoir attempts to do is keep you interested in my life story while simply illustrating the wealth building secrets of vesting and forfeitures. Prior to that he spent ten years as Chief Financial Officer of Nationwide Discount Sleep Centers, and five years with American Trust Co. of Hawaii Inc. as a 401(k) ESOP specialist. He studied at Drew University and completed additional course work at Drexel University before beginning his career in 1979 as a member of Barclay Associates. Mr. Mazda is the executive producer of "401(k) Magic", an award-winning children's film. The film won three of six Telly awards for excellence: Childrens Audience, Social Issues, and Education.
