It is based on the historic Japanese 72 micro-seasons that rotate every 5 days. It is not based on days of the week. The dates are simply the dates, not tied to days of the week. Through haiku, reflective prompts, nature, observations, and the lead of the historic 72 Seasons, an opportunity unfolds within to connect with your inner and outer environments in ways that companion time, breaking time in the sense that we feel pushed and pulled by it, and then learning how we are instead among it through the cycles we witness and relate to in the patterns and randomness of nature.
