Up in Heaven, Lexie Nickerson dreams of a beautiful life with a special young man, one who will love and care for her, a devoted husband. Living in a beautiful manor near Boston, Lexie is invited to an elegant Christmas ball, where she just hopes to meet the love of her life. Audie Murphy, a country boy from Texas, dreams of adventure and romance, of finding his perfect match. Receiving an invitation to the very same ball, Audie makes a long journey, befriending Dan and Vickie Page, a kind couple who agrees to drive him there. And maybe, just maybe, Audie may find everything he has been looking for. About the Author Margeau de la Malfa holds a BS degree in Business Administration with a major in Executive Management and graduated in the Class of 1981 from Northeastern University, Boston, Massachusetts. As a Daughter of the American Revolution (DAR), she served the United States of America as Regent of her local chapter in Lexington, Massachusetts, where she started a veterans program to aid the vets living in the hospital in Bedford. Her interests vary, as does her employment in many disciplines. They include creative writing, poetry, music, painting, history, business, and law. Currently, she is a volunteer security officer living in Maine, and soon New Hampshire. Her next challenge is to pursue her education and achieve her ambition to become a lawyer/consultant and continue writing books.
