After his beloved wife, Emma, died of breast cancer, Hudson Murray knew, without a single question in his heart, that his life was over. Her zest for life, and for love, caught him by surprise. He soon discovers that Riley is just as broken as he is, that her love-less life, filled with searches for ever more pleasure, is not the dreamscape of happiness and fun she portrayed at the start. As they travel across the US, they are both wondering if a relationship is possible, for either of them, ever again.
