After the Second World War, Nazi scientists came to America under the auspices of a secret program, to work on classified projects for the military. Some of their work drew on expertise gained during the war in concentration camps, hospitals, orphanages, using innocent people -- including children - as guinea pigs. in America, these scientists received special clearance to experiment on vulnerable groups such as native people, orphans, mental patients, and certain "gifted" children.
