All of a sudden, a barrage of bullets exploded out of nowhere that frightened the public and created a chaotic scene. In a flurry of shouting, weeping, and yelling, the town began to herd towards an old hotel known as the Hotel Seppa. The Hotel Seppa was just about 1.2 kilometers from the district police station, where a crowd began to form. Then, the wailing sirens of arriving police at the crime scene heightened the tension. In this area, such ferocious shootings have never occurred before in the middle of the day. A man was lying on his stomach near the hotel's entrance stairs, his head facing east, his feet facing west, and his left arm resting on the tread of the stairs' first step. The body's head was completely blown off. His right hand continued to convulse, maybe involuntarily, as if trying to feel the top of his head. On the other hand, the underside of the upper half of the body was covered in blood that was still oozing out of the head while creating a puddle. Apparently, identifying the man with pieces of his head sticking to his neck was too difficult for laymen.
