Are you going through a spiritual crisis? Are you at a standstill in your spiritual life? I have experienced both of these. I was being called to a higher place. Yet, I was not certain as to how I would get there. I went through some trials and even experienced times where I felt afraid and unloved. But God had a plan and a purpose for my life. He showed me love through people. He trained me, chastised me and made me stronger through a divine connection. If it were not for this connection I don't know where I would be. So to you I say to you as you go through your trial and face your fears, stay focused on God. Apostle Joann Brown has been happily married to Deacon Robert Brown Jr. for over thirty years. She is the mother of three young men, Ellis A. Thomas Jr., Robert Brown III, and Anthony S. Brown and is a proud grandmother to eight grandchildren. Apostle Joann Brown worked in the medical field for over forty years. She was the first black Director of Nurses for Mitchell County Hospital. She was awarded Nurse of the Year on June 7, 1990 by the Executive Board of the Archbold Memorial Hospital of Thomasville, Georgia, and in 2006, she was awarded Nurses of the Year by Archbold Dialysis Center. Apostle Joann Brown is a graduate of the Zion Christian Bible Institute Inc. of Thomasville, Georgia. She made history by becoming the first female preacher to receive a license and ordination in a Primitive Baptist Church under the Umbrella of Overseer, Dr. William L. Bradley and the Zion Bible College. She is the Pastor of Genuine Apostolic Ministries in Pelham, Georgia. She is also the President of the Ordination Council Examination Board for the Zion Bible College. She has survived breast cancer twice by God's grace. She is also the author of Set Up by God.
