In a rundown neighborhood, a single mother struggles to make ends meet, her son surrounded by temptation and negative influences. Torn by anger towards his absent father, he finds solace in the wrong crowd, leading to a fateful decision. As she prays for him to don the armor of God, her heart wrestles with despair and hope for her son. Angela Decker grew up in a multitude of little towns and cities in Northwest Ohio, but considers McComb, Ohio as her hometown. She attended McComb High School before attending Bluffton University and the University of Toledo receiving her Bachelor of Elementary Education. She went on to put herself through Emergency Medicine after 9/11 feeling compelled to give back and help others. She continued her education, receiving her Master of Education in Curriculum and Development. Angela is an advocate for education and poverty and understands that becoming educated breaks cycles. She plans to work towards her Masters in Physician Assistant. Angela has a Facebook page dedicated to her quirky thinkings and poetry, "All Things Related" and has a second book, Letters Left Unwritten: Sounds of Surviving in the works. Angela enjoys traveling with her best friend and continues to reside in Northwest Ohio with her family. Angela is an avid baseball fan and is working on her MLB Ballpark Bucket-list.
