There are various methods to land an Airbus A320. Depending on the scenario, the flight crew may choose a precision approach, a non-precision approach, or simply a visual approach. However, regardless of the selected approach, the landing will follow the same operational pattern. While a successful landing always depends on a well-executed approach, knowing the step-by-step procedure of a landing is crucial to safely and successfully land this remarkable aircraft. In this work, we will cover everything related to landing an Airbus A320. We will study the basic principles of a standard landing and the main theoretical concepts of an emergency landing. We will analyze the step-by-step process of a normal landing based on an IFR procedure.
