This was made by Vanessa McLean at Adamo Winery in the Hockley Hills north of the GTA, from fruit purchased from the Foxcroft Vineyard in Niagara. It was an excellent vintage, and now with five years age this has become a quite rich, powerful and well-balanced chardonnay drinking at its best. The nose is showing ripe peach, honey, caramel and spice with a tobacco note. It is almost creamy, fulsome but dry and underpinned by fine minerality and acidity. Excellent definition and length.
