Lone Wolf, a young Blackfoot warrior, dreams of acquiring horses for his tribe, as he believes they are the future and will make his tribe more secure as they compete with other tribes for the resources of the area. Unfortunately the elders do no agree with his vision and do not see the possibilities that this might have for them. Lone Wolf acquires a horse and tries to show his peers and elders that they must do the same.
