FOXFIRE. The name of the operation alone is enough to set off a series of killings thirty years later. No one is safe, not even those who were not involved. Someone is making sure nothing gets out about the operation, even if it means gunning down innocent women and children. When Cowboy McKee drops in to visit his platoon sergeant from Special Forces in Vietnam, he learns his friend is dead. The circumstances are suspicious and when McKee learns his friend was involved with Foxfire, he knows trouble is not far off. Yet in becoming involved, Sam McKee not only makes himself a target, but also sets off a vicious attack on his family ranch. To protect those he loves, McKee agrees to go to work for a counter-espionage group known only as the Agency. Nor does it take him long to realize he is up against a rogue Special Forces sniper who calls himself the Angel of Death. What remains unknown is who sent the Angel and why.
