Excerpt from Aphasia: And the Cerebral Speech Mechanism The work does not aim at a description of all the disorders of speech its scope has been confined to the cen tral mechanism concerned in speech written and spoken, the disturbances of that mechanism, and the localisation of the lesions which produce those disturbances. Special attention has been devoted to the differential diagnosis of the clinical varieties of aphasia, and wherever possible the varieties have been illustrated by cases of my own observation. About the Publisher Forgotten Books publishes hundreds of thousands of rare and classic books. Find more at www.forgottenbooks.com This book is a reproduction of an important historical work.
