Many years after the famous battle of fire and ice, the fire phoenix and the ice phoenix are long gone, believed to be no more than legend. But Athena feels drawn to the fire phoenix, who she knows must be more than a myth. Using her special ability to hear the thoughts of the magical phoenixes, Athena sets out in search of the fire phoenix that once lived in the forest beside her village. Athena soon finds herself at the heart of a new battle. The fire phoenix and the ice phoenix have risen, and it's up to Athena to alert her village and put a stop to war before it begins.
