Beam City but c'mon let us take the liberty to add a qualifier and call this new Bachelder label 'Beam Rock City' because the lights have come up and the music blasts from the Villages stage. It is what Thomas refers to as 'Goût de Beamsville,' not something you can put a finger or a palate on per se but there is something intangible about the scents and flavours of multi-Bench fruit sources gathered together as one. The triple 'B' is an energetic one, a stunner of scintillant activity and more complex than previous Niagara village examples that have come before. A litheness of glycerin and an aromatic perfume of fabric stitched and woven to make this pinot noir sing the songs of the slopes and the hills. Quite plump, with ample fruit and some limestone infiltration that makes for what can be best described as mineral bitters dancing on the palate. Drink 2023-2027. Tasted December 2023. Score - 92.
