Jeff Paschal grew up in North and South Carolina. He is a graduate of Limestone University, Union Presbyterian Seminary, and Pittsburgh Theological Seminary.
Jeff briefly served as a high school band director, a member of the U.S. Army Band of New York City, and then as a Presbyterian pastor for more than 30 years.
In their blended family, he and his wife, Beth, have five children and ten grandchildren. They enjoy long-distance running and biking, reading, traveling, and being with family and friends.
Jeff's previous writing includes columns in the Cleveland Plain Dealer Newspaper, a monthly column in the Greensboro News & Record newspaper (2012-2019), short pieces in the O. Henry magazine, essays in the Feasting on the Word and Feasting on the Gospels commentary series, and a book of sermons The Trajectory of Hope. This is Jeff's first novel.
