Growing up in the inner-city projects of South Nashville an impoverished community can be vigorous. Destined for greatness Calvin "Fridge" Bryant becomes a high school football star and leader for his entire community. Crossed by a longtime "family friend" who became a government informant wearing a wiretap lands Calvin in prison for 17 years.
