This is a very elegant yet still fresh chardonnay with that certain textural refinement and minerality I like in Pouilly-Fuisse, drawn from the limestone soils. There is a hint of oniony reduction on the nose but also fine yellow apple-pineapple fruit with subtle hazelnut and toast. It is medium to full bodied, smooth and almost creamy but again showing some firmness and flint on the finish. The length is excellent.
