With all eyes focused on the heavens, searching for the astral body which might well seal our fate, nobody has been paying any attention to what is already on the Earth, or within. But all that changed when an apogee event aligned the planets, ever so slightly stretching the Earth and releasing a long trapped, malignant horror.
