Contemporary sculpture and installation pieces in dialogue with the historical collection of Mexico’s national art museum Guatemalan artist Darío Escobar (born 1971) makes large-scale installations and sculptures constructed from sports equipment and mass-produced materials, which are informed by Guatamalan traditions.
