It reminds me often of how when you plant a seed, you patiently wait for it to germinate. Little roots would start to appear, so delicate and so vulnerable. You then take care to ensure that it is in a good environment. You water as needed. This is how our belief in our self-discovery and life purpose takes root. Be patient with yourself. Everything happens in it's own time. I remember wondering year after year when this hell would ever end. As parents, all we can do is live by example and plant seeds, not trees. Spiritual growth and understanding cannot be rushed and will happen in its own time. Meet everyone where they are. There are many things we just cannot teach our children or do for them. Despite what we think, we all have our own journey and our children will have their own journey. It was something I came to know through my life experiences, teachings, practices, and disciplines. God wants to help us navigate this life with His Legions of Light if we only let him.
